How to configure the contols is briefly but accurately described in the printed instruction sheet. In the download package is an instruction manual in PDF format, but this is written in Chinese-English and I could not comprehend parts of it at all. However I found a very helpful set of understandable configuration instructions online. While apparently written for an earlier program version, these instructions are fully compatible with the latest program version:

I chose this controller because it uses a USB connection to the computer, no special cables needed. My computer recognized it instantly when I first made the connection. The download package includes 19 airplane models and 3 helicopters. The controller and configuration features don't allow me to duplicate the action of my real-life heli controller exactly, but with all these simulator models available for flight practice I won't complain. I love the 'uncrash' feature of the program. When I accidently dive the simulated model into the ground it just rights itself and starts flying again.
